Dinner Theatre and Ticketed Event Questions
How can I get tickets to an event at the Eagle?
That’s a great question! If it is an event being hosted by the Eagle you can buy tickets directly from us by calling (815) 844-1187 or by heading over to our Ticketing Page. If it is an event being hosted by someone else, you may need to contact them to purchase your tickets. If you’re not sure just give us a call and we’ll be glad to point you in the right direction!
Can I pick my seat?
The only people allowed to chose their seats are our Dinner Theatre Season Subscribers. For more information on how to become a Season Subscriber, give us a call or visit our Dinner Theatre page.
Ok, I can’t reserve my seat ahead of time, can I get there really early to pick the one I want?
You are welcome to try and get here early, but we will not open the doors before the posted time. Usually this is 15 minutes before dinner service begins which is an optimal amount of time to get everyone in and seated.
What is your refund policy?
If you or any member of your party are unable to make your reservation, we do not offer refunds. You are welcome to give your reservation to another person if you are unable to use it. If WE must cancel an event for any reason, including but not limited to a severe weather or catastrophic event, illness, death or any other Act of God, we will notify you at our earliest convenience and will offer refunds.
Can I bring my whole family to your events?
While many of our events are family-friendly, you might want to double check before purchasing your tickets. We can’t decide what is appropriate for your child, but we can tell you if there is any language or inappropriate situations. We also ask you to consider if your child has the patience to sit through an hour to an hour and a half of dinner and then a two hour show. We want everyone to be able to enjoy what is going on onstage and that isn’t always possible when they are seated next to a fussy child or if you are constantly having to get up and take your child to the lobby.
What do I wear?
We’ve had people show up in suits and ties and we’ve had people show up in ripped blue jeans. We like to keep a fairly casual atmosphere – nice blue jeans and a shirt are appropriate.
Hosting an event at the Eagle
Do I need to be ready to book my event to get a tour of the Eagle?
Not at all! We’d be happy to show you around an answer any questions you may have about the space prior to you deciding where you’ll be hosting your event.
My event is just me and my closest friends and family. Can we bring our own alcohol?
No. Due to the liquor licensing, the only alcohol served in the building has to be served by Bernardi’s II. You can negotiate bar pricing for your event directly with them.
Ok, what about food?
All food served in the Eagle must come from a licensed kitchen. Before we can allow them to serve at your event, we need to see their catering license and insurance. Once we’ve worked with a caterer we keep that information on file, so feel free to ask us! If you’d like to use someone we don’t have that information on file for, we’re happy to talk to them to get that information.
How many people can I have at my event?
That depends on the set up of the room! If you’re set up with tables and chairs, the maximum capacity is 181 people. With chairs only the capacity is 240. With no furniture at all the capacity is much higher.
How much does it cost to rent the Eagle?
Many factors go into determining the rental fees. First and foremost is the amount of time you need (whole day or half day), whether it’s a week day or weekend, and if it’s daytime or evening. From there it depends on what additional services of ours you need (use of the stage sound and lighting systems, use of the projector and screen, etc.). All food and beverage services are contracted separately by you.
